Churches & Faith Communities

 

 

There are many attributes of living in the Upper Perkiomen Valley, the people, the open space, the country charm and numerous churches in which to worship. Many denominations are represented in the Valley. We have a strong heritage of faith.

 

The churches are ecumenical, in that they cooperate in planning and participating in worship services together: Lent, Thanksgiving, World Day of Prayer and the High School Baccalaureate Service.

 

The churches- both the members and the clergy- immerse themselves in the community through serving the social agencies and organizations of the Valley. Support is given to: CROP Hunger Walk, American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Open Line, Upper Perkiomen Senior Community Center, YMCA and Youth & Family Services.

 

No matter your denomination, anyone may find a place to worship in the Valley where you will be warmly greeted. The Valley has a rich heritage of faith which continues in the 21^st century.
